This lecture is a  problem-oriented approach to common problems in hematology, to include anemia.  By the end of the session, the participant will be able to discuss the clinical presentation, diagnosis and management of common problems in Hematology. Topics included are:

1)                  Anemias

2)                  Polycythemia

3)                  Leukemia

4)                  Lymphoma

5)                  Coagulation Disorders

6)                  Splenic Disorders

7)                  Transfusion Therapy
